BARACK TAKES LEAD IN INDIANA POLL

We just can't seem to get enough good news today, can we?
The latest reason for hope of a November victory comes from the long-held Republican bastion of Indiana, where today the Indianapolis Star-News is reporting a 3 percent Obama advantage over John McCain. Keep in mind, Indiana has not voted for a Democrat in a presidential election since 1964. Another key item: According to the story, Obama holds a 14-point advantage in the polls in the state's largest city, Indianapolis. If you know people there, you know what to do, people!

Seems that way, based on the latest polling data. Last night it was revealed that Obama is now TIED in Florida and North Carolina, two states that had previously been reported to be "leaning McCain" or "safely in his column."

Does anyone else out there find it odd that in the midst of a national discussion about the state of the fragile economy, which puts the Republican party back on its heels, that a terrorist bombing would happen in the Middle East and be attributed to "Islamist extremists" and then, when their VP nominee is losing steam and the media is getting wise to her, hackers break into her personal email, possibly creating sympathy for her?

She's not Queen Latifah or MC Lyte -- at least not yet -- but Bronx rapper Madame Star, a former Hillary Clinton supporter is now puttin' it down for Barack Obama in his bid for the White House.

NEW POLLS SHOW FLORIDA, NORTH CAROLINA CAN TURN BLUE FOR BARACK NOVEMBER WIN

When an object stops bouncing, it falls flat to the floor.
That, friends, is finally what appears to be happening to the GOP post-convention bounce. New CNN polls released tonight give more hope than in previous elections that Republican stronghold states of Florida and North Carolina may finally go Democratic this November with Barack Obama as the nominee.
