Catch John McCain's performance last night's Presidential Forum on CNN?
Stop me if this sounds familiar...
John McCain, a few weeks ago: "The economy is fundamentally strong."
So why then, did he say this last night?
"Our economy is broken and people are hurting very badly."
Well, Sen. McCain, which is it?
And then there's this bit:
He says a few weeks back he gives the pat Republican schtick about big government is bad government. Last week he says he wants to shrink Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac after the government takes them over.
What does he say last night?
He wants to expand the military and the Peace Corps.
So what gives?
Does McCain expect to manage the federal government like a zydeco musician plays an accordion, continually shrinking and expanding its size to hit the right notes?
Sounds like someone missed the "Batman" movie casting call to play the part of "Two-Face."
